Designer, art director, project designer, entrepreneur… For over 15 years, he worked to the emergence of a benchmark product of French pastry: “l’éclair” its snacking chic version.
This eclair, he shapes it by borrowing the codes of the great houses of luxury, cosmetics and fashion but wants it to be a simple, accessible and decomplexing product. He also wants his éclair to becomes a brand, and why not a phenomenon, planetary tomorrow! It was then that Christopher Adam begins second pastry life.
Yesterday in the starred kitchens of the Crillon and head of the Fauchon brigades, Member of the jury of “Who will be the next great pastry chef? ” on the french channel France 2, but also author of numerous books, Christopher realizes its project and created in 2012 its concept store around single-product of éclair. An unexpected meeting with the businessman Charles Lahmi offers him the opportunity to create the new spot for lovers of sweets more inventive than each other: L’éclair de Génie.
After opening the first shop in the trendy Marais district, L’Eclair de Génie meets a huge success. The chef opens in stride several shops in Paris and Asia. Christophe Adam does not complicate things, and it is with the éclair, a popular dessert, that he has the most fun.
