SASSY, the first contemporary brand of cider “made in Normandy”
Xavier d’Audiffret Pasquier and Pierre-Emmanuel Racine-Jourdren have been friends for more than 20 years and grew up together in Normandy. Their ambition is to give a more youthful image to one of the flagship products from their native region, “le cidre!” Driven by a desire to offer a high-quality, hand-crafted product, with its numerous energy-giving and delicious, they wanted to develop a modern product (gluten free, 100% natural, 100% pure juice and low-calorie – less than 50 calories for a 15 cl glass). With the help of a renowned “maître de chai” (cellar master), SASSY has aimed for excellence. Pierre-Emmanuel and Xavier spent over a year preparing their project, which has now culminated in the launch of SASSY, the first contemporary brand of cider “Made in Normandy”. Our creations are made from carefully selected varieties of Normandy apples.
Sassy wants to shake up the cider world and advocates a return to “real taste”. Going against conventions, Sassy takes cider out into the wider world and makes it an aperitif option.
